Haze is a mobile assassin who wins fights before they begin. Her Smoke Bomb grants invisibility, her Sleep Dagger locks down a target, and her Bullet Dance ultimate shreds anything caught in the open.

Role
Assassin / Duelist
Difficulty
High
Best For
Flanking, single-target assassination, split pressure

Core Identity

Haze is about tempo. She wants to be where the enemy is not looking, delete one target, and vanish again before the response arrives. Her passive rewards reload and fire-rate management, so every engagement is a short, precise burst.

She is at her strongest in the mid game, before teams group and buy the vision that counters her stealth.

How to Play

  1. Flank, don't front-line. Enter fights from the side or behind, never through the front door.
  2. Sleep the priority target. Lock down the healer or carry before they can react.
  3. Commit when the ult is up. Bullet Dance wins team fights only if you pick the right moment.
  4. Track enemy vision. Stealth is worthless if you walk through a ward โ€” buy detection counters yourself.
  5. Farm between plays. Haze scales hard, so do not force bad fights while your ult is on cooldown.

Ability Upgrade Order

| Priority | Ability | Reason | | --- | --- | --- | | 1 | Bullet Dance | Core team-fight damage | | 2 | Smoke Bomb | Longer stealth and better flanks | | 3 | Sleep Dagger | More reliable lockdown | | 4 | Weapon | Scales into the late game |

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Extreme single-target burst with little counterplay
  • High mobility and stealth for map-wide pressure
  • Scales into a genuine late-game threat

Cons

  • Squishy โ€” dies instantly if caught without stealth
  • Countered hard by vision and coordinated teams
  • High mechanical floor; mistakes are punished brutally

Meta Warning

Haze's power swings heavily with balance patches. Always check the current patch notes โ€” a single nerf to her ultimate can change her entire role.
